My Trip To Seoul, Korea!!

I’ve been incognito this week.  My apologies.  I have been caught up in the Cage Fight world, but don’t fret, I’ve returned with international adapter in hand.  Now I can plug in the Camera I purchased while in Korea.

That’s right!  KOREA!!!  (Although you saw that in my title.)

I took a little 6 day trip to Seoul, Korea a the beginning of June and let me tell ya… It’s a great place.  People were very nice and accommodating.  They were calm and eager to help me.

They also had a tendency to make me feel like a bit of a superstar.

Here are a few shots from my trip.

P.S.  I am no photographer so I apologize for the low quality of these shots.  LOL.

From the skies!

The view from the hotel.

Tasty Treats!

Bongeunsa Temple

Me in front of the Bongeunsa Temple. (Hard to see)

Pretty little pond

Bongeunsa Temple. (the big gong and drum)

Prayer. This is as close as I wanted to get. I didn't want to be disrespectful.

Well…  This is just a few shots… I will post some more later.  Maybe I’ll just make a youtube video.

Well, what’s been going on with everyone here in the WordPress Community?

Wow, great shots! Especially the one from the airplane window, I can never get those to turn out right.

what are you talking about?! you pictures are excellent. Do you speak Korean? If not how did you navigate around the language barrier?

Glad you liked the pictures!! 🙂

Only thing I know how to say is Hello And Thank You. LOL.

English is definitely the second language in Seoul. Plus, there is an american military base there. A lot of things were written in both english and Korean.

There were some complications, but nothing a little charade couldn’t fix.

It was all part of the adventure! I am gonna follow in Rachel’s footsteps and hit Japan next I think. 🙂 (but I will learn a bit of japanese before I make that trip.)
